Maine Hire-A-Vet Campaign 2024

Thank you to all that supported our third campaign event at Poland Spring’s Conference Center on October 17th.  We had over 50 employers and resource providers share in great weather for our inside and outside hiring event.  We even had a job seeker travel out from Central New York State as he prepares to relocate to Maine with his family.  We are now focusing on the final event of the campaign.  Mark your calendars as we will be visiting the southern reaches of Maine at York County Community College in Wells.  If you are looking for employment or perhaps a career upgrade, this is a don’t miss event.  We continue to have federal, state and local resource providers on hand to assist Veterans.  Need a haircut?  We have you covered on that too.  Sport Clips will be providing FREE haircuts to Veterans and military personnel.

Join us on November 22, 2024 from 11 am to 3 pm at York County Community College and see what might be possible. The event is open to ALL JOB SEEKERS!

For the Veterans and job seekers reading this, no registration is required, just show up. Bring your resume, career goals and dress for success.
